The airstrip at Discovery Bay is beautifully maintained, exclusive to owners, and perfect for small passenger planes. Our runway is federally registered, making it easy to navigate to and from the location. With access to this unique amenity, you'll enjoy privacy, convenience, enhanced safety and security, and seamless integration with our community.
Land in your backyard, taxi your plane, and park in your own hanger. The 2,260 ft. asphalt runway runs south to north. It is located on the southwest side of the Norwalk Landing development.

We can recommend skilled contractors to help you build the perfect place for your plane. Lot owners can build a hangar in the lots adjacent to the runway or build a hangar home. Note that your aircraft must be stowed in your hangar when the aircraft is not in use.
Lots on the airstrip are some of the most popular at Discovery Bay. We currently have twelve lots available at various prices so you can find the perfect fit for your needs.
Lot 14 is an airstrip lot, perfect for pilots and outdoor adventurers. You can walk or drive to your hangar and take off at your leisure, but you won’t have to worry about noise as the airstrip is built for smaller personal aircrafts. Each lot at Discovery Bay also features access to our beautiful private marina.
